The National Capital Region’s Top Employers is an annual competition that identifies exceptional workplaces in the Ottawa-Gatineau area based on a number of criteria. The competition, first launched in 2006, is organized by Mediacorp Canada Inc., the editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers.

Organizations are judged based on eight criteria, including: physical workplace; work atmosphere and social atmosphere; health, financial and family benefits; vacation and time off; employee communications; performance management; training and skills development; and community involvement.

“We are honoured to be named a top employer in the Ottawa region,” says Roseann Runte, President and CEO of the CFI. “We have a most extraordinary team and together, we have created an environment which recognizes good work and celebrates achievements.”
