OTTAWA, ONTARIO — For small- and medium-sized enterprises, staying competitive means embracing change. It means rethinking previously accepted ideas to unlock new opportunities, reimagining how we do things to find more sustainable solutions or reinventing technologies to open up new markets. But for many businesses, this change requires research support, having access to a cutting-edge lab that can validate a product, improve the strength of a material or scale-up production.

Today, the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) launches a campaign that highlights a handful of Canadian entrepreneurs and businesses who have found the path to change and success by collaborating with world-class, CFI-funded research labs. Their stories show how CFI investments in research infrastructure play a critical role in helping entrepreneurs and businesses innovate, grow and prosper.
