Creating a positive work environment for our employees is paramount to ensure the success of our organization. This is one of the reasons the Canada Foundation for Innovation has been named one of the best places to work in the National Capital Region by the editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers for the third year in a row.

The National Capital Region’s Top Employers is an annual competition that identifies exceptional workplaces in the Ottawa-Gatineau area. The competition, first launched in 2006, is organized by Mediacorp Canada Inc.

MediaCorp accepts applications from employers across the National Capital Region and assesses them based on eight criteria: physical workplace; work atmosphere and social atmosphere; health, financial and family benefits; vacation and time off; employee communications; performance management; training and skills development; and community involvement.

“At the CFI we are proud to foster an environment that contributes positively to the success of all our employees,” says Roseann O’Reilly Runte, President and CEO of the CFI. “We are honoured to be recognized for the third time as one of the top places to work in the National Capital Region and applaud all employees for their extraordinary dedication.”
