April 4, 2012 – Ottawa, ON – As part of its investment in science, technology and innovation, the Government of Canada allocated $500 million to the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) in Budget 2012. Starting in 2014-15, this funding will support investments in leading‐edge research infrastructure, including the College-Industry Innovation Fund.
